James (Jim) Kasim has spent the last seven years as the chief financial officer and treasurer of a commercial real estate company. In this position, he draws on more than two decades of executive experience in financial reporting and corporate finance. Prior to taking on his current position, James Kasim spent time as the chief financial officer of Pacific Office Properties Trust, Inc., in Santa Monica, California.
James Kasim has additional experience as an adjunct professor teaching within the Lusk Center of Real Estate at the University of Southern California (USC) and as an award-winning management professional at Ernst and Young, LLP, in Los Angeles.
Jim Kasim studied business administration and accounting at California State University, Northridge. In addition to his bachelor of science, he holds a master of business administration from USC’s Marshall School of Business and a master of real estate from Georgetown University. He graduated from USC with honors and as a member of the Beta Gamma Sigma honor society.
